Week 5!

 

I do not have much to say. I was unable to work on my research this week because I have been focusing on work and homework. However, one of my reading assignments for this week included Intrusion Detection Systems and their uses, so I wanted to include that in this post. Another thing that I want to mention is insider threats related to theories discussing the human element in security and the underlying necessity to approach cybersecurity, including employee training. A practical security training and awareness program should teach employees the basics of social engineering, security training, and awareness of potential computer crimes.
