Week 14 Blog!

Image
Hi everyone,  I have been trying to change my tomato disease code to our machine-learning bacterial identification information this week and last. However, I encountered an error in my code, so I went back to the tomato disease code and found that I am now producing the same mistake in that code. What is weird is that that whole tomato code ran before I made any changes. Now, Josh and I are trying to figure out that error code to get the entire code to run with all the proper modifications to fit our machine-learning bacterial identification. Hopefully, we can figure that out soon.

Week 13 Blog!

Hello everyone,  Josh and I finally got our whole code to work, and now we are focusing on creating folders for each bacterial classification and uploading their respective pictures into Google Drive. Once we have entirely uploaded the images for each bacteria classification, we can change the parts of the code referring to the tomato leaf disease to the bacterial identification ones. This semester went by so fast that I am shocked that we are a few weeks away from culminating this semester. I am happy and, simultaneously, a little bit sad because work won't give me Thanksgiving or Christmas, so I won't be able to visit my family in Mexico, but I'm still looking forward to the end of this semester. Stay safe!

Week 12 Blog!

Hello everyone, good morning.  I am in the lab right now, and I have been comparing my code with Josh to see what we have different and how we can make our whole code work. It has been a steady and slow progress, but we are only a few lines of code away from getting everything working. Hopefully, we will get to finish everything by the time this semester is over since the end of the semester is creeping up on us. This semester has gone by flying. There are not enough hours in the day to finish all that I have to do; I am waiting for this winter break to try to relax. I hope all of your guys' projects are going as planned!

Week 11 Blog!

Hi everybody, I have not been able to finish my code. I have been stuck for the last two weeks, and unfortunately, I have not figured it out. Also, I have not been able to meet up with Josh because of us not coinciding in the lab, but once we meet up, it will be much easier for us to figure it out together. I had to go out of town this past weekend, so this week, I have been feeling more tired than usual. I am struggling to finish this week's homework since I didn't have those days during the weekend, so now I am forced to do more assignments during the week when I am away from work. Anyway, this semester is almost to an end, and I will be able to take it easier during winter break.
