Week 3!

 Hello everyone! 

I did not get a chance to meet with Josh today as we had planned, but I will start with my research, compare support vector machines (SVMs) and Random Forests (RF), and start getting some information set up for my research proposal. Last semester, I concluded that I wanted to research support vector machines (SVMs) and random forests (RFs) since SVMs outperformed RFs throughout the training process. In contrast, RFs outperformed SVMs during the test procedure. Later this week, I will start looking up some sources, and hopefully, I can find at least five comparing both of them.
